Your home should feel personal, comfortable and completely yours. But bringing together the right furniture, finishes and details for a Windsor home can feel like a lot… you know what you love, yet turning it into a room that feels cohesive still takes a bit of magic.
That’s exactly what inspired The New Urbanhome Lookbook, and it’s the heart of the latest evolution of our Windsor interior design showroom.
And this November, we want you to see it in person!
Join us for The New Collection: An Evening at Urbanhome. Cozy after-hours showroom event celebrating thoughtful design, beautifully made furniture, and the art of building a home that feels collected, not just decorated.
A Warmer, More Collected Direction
This new collection is the warmest, most expressive Urbanhome has felt yet.
Drawing on timeless European interiors, it’s built around rich woods, sculptural silhouettes, natural materials, soft upholstery and neutrals layered with real depth. Think deep olive, warm brown, burgundy and black grounding a room, while stone, aged finishes and tactile fabrics give it personality.
We didn’t design these spaces to look perfectly matched. We designed them to feel like they evolved naturally, the way a favourite room actually does.
Because a truly collected home isn’t built by buying a matching set off the floor. It comes together slowly, through the thoughtful mix of shape, scale, material, colour and pieces that actually mean something to you.
Well-Made Furniture for Windsor Homes
At Urbanhome, we curate furniture and décor for homes across Windsor and Essex County, including Canadian-made furnishings and customizable pieces you won’t find at a big-box store.
Quality isn’t just about how something looks on a showroom floor. It’s how a piece feels, how it functions, and how well it holds up to everyday life in your home.
A sofa should make you want to sink into it. A dining chair should look beautiful and actually be comfortable for a two-hour dinner. A statement table should turn heads and still work for the people using it every day.
That’s why our Windsor design team asks the same questions with every piece we bring in:
- Is it the right scale for the room?
- Does it support how you’ll actually use the space?
- Does the material add warmth, contrast or texture?
- Will it work with the pieces you already own and love?
- Does it feel personal and not predictable?
That thinking is what separates simply buying furniture from thoughtfully furnishing a home.
Materials With Meaning
Natural materials are the backbone of this collection.
Wood brings warmth and familiarity. Stone adds variation and a sense of permanence. Soft upholstery softens more architectural forms, while aged metals and sculptural accessories bring in contrast and interest.
These materials get more beautiful, not less, when they’re allowed to show their natural character — grain, texture, tonal variation. That’s what makes a room feel authentic instead of overly polished.
Our Forest Trail model home is a great example. Old-world stone was the starting point, and it guided every choice that followed — the distressed woods, the layered neutrals, the upholstery, the lighting. When one material has that much character, we believe it should be allowed to lead.

We built our new lookbook to help you picture how individual pieces come together as a complete room.
